Patch Guide

Here you will find some helpful information to guide you in deciding what kind of patch is best for you. Below are charts and useful diagrams to clarify some of the terms you may come across.

I. Shape

Your patches can come in just about any shape and form. Below you'll find some of the more commonly used shapes for patches. Use the chart below as a reference or come up with your own shape to fit your need.




II. Size

To determine the size of your patch:

     Add the LENGTH and WIDTH of your patch
     Divide by 2
     Round up to the nearest 0.5 inch



III. Embroidery Percentage

Our custom patches are made with high-quality thread, embroidered upon a background of colored twill (cloth). The "Embroidery Percentage" defines how much of the surface of your patch will be covered by the embroidered thread.

Below are examples of embroidery percentages. This will give you an estimation of what 50%, 75% and 100% embroidery patches look like.

IV. Quantity

There is no minimum quantity, and we gladly welcome small orders. However, increasing the number of patches in your order will mean lowering the price of each patch.

Ask about our basic volume discounts for orders of 50, 100, 200, 300, 1000, 2000, 3000, and 5000 pieces.
